Mark Millwall

Mark Millwall
Mark Millward is in his seventh year as Assistant Coach and goalkeeping specialist with the SUNY Canton men’s soccer program.

Originally from Hemel Hempstead, England, Mark was a standout goalkeeper who has been fortunate to play at the highest level. His high school team went unbeaten for five consecutive years, with Mark starting every game. They won district, sectional, county, regional, and English Schools Football Association national honors. Following high school and while in college, Mark played professionally before a wrist injury ended his career.

He went on to become a referee in both the United Kingdom and in New Zealand. It was while he was in New Zealand that he started coaching, a career that continued when he came to the United States in 1998.

He has been a coach with American Youth Soccer Association camps held in Lewis County, NY, and the U15 and U18 Canton boys travel teams that play in the Potsdam Youth Soccer Association summer league. Mark was also the goalkeeping coach for Lewis County United of the Northern New York Soccer League.

Mark lives in Massena with his wife, Dorothy and has two sons, Taine and Aiden, both of whom are avid soccer players and coaches.
